Our company was first established in Australia in 1967 handling primarily ski tours to Australia, then expanded into general tours in 1972 for its incorporation as a share capital company, in the meantime an office was opened in Japan and a company registered there in 1972 with the aquisition of land for the building of the first Western style ski lodge in that country.

The year 1979 was also memorable in the establishment and registration of our USA office in Los Angeles and then in 1990 the opening of a Canadian office gave us access to the large North American market which has been both a source and destination of a large part of our clients.
SPECIALTY TOURS - INTERNATIONAL is set up as a B2B hotel reservation system and wholesale tour operator working for and on behalf of the travel trade in each country where we have offices. All types of arrangements are made for travel agents and tour operators whether for FITs or GROUPs on an OUTBOUND basis, thus corresponding offices become inbound operators of these services.
The companies also maintain corresponding operators in many countries among them being TAIWAN, HONG KONG, THAILAND, SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, FRANCE, GERMANY, ITALY and UNITED KINGDOM, with others now under negotiation, particularly in Europe.
In 1975 we introduced our own EXCHANGE VOUCHER SYSTEM to the trade and since then have expanded its use amongst agents worldwide and at present S.T.I. has working agreements with some 3500 properties located in 37 countries, plus access to 30 ground operators in as many countries, giving the ability to handle any kind of service the trade may require. Further suppliers and new properties are constantly being added and actively encouraged to work with us, as we sell and handle only the services of our members.
We are now in the process of opening up a new offices in EUROPE which will cover the countries of Europe as well as all EU member countries.
This new company will be known as STIReservations.com (EUROPE) in accordance with our new policy to change our company name gradually to our new name of STIReservations.com to reflect our proper place in the travel industry as a leading HOTEL RESERVATION SYSTEM and our WEB SITE to be found on the web under: www.STIReservations.com
Full responsibility for financial affairs is vested with STI CENTRAL Office, currently located in LOS ANGELES.
